As per the latest reports, Dr. Gavin Wood would now be delivering lectures at Berkeley. According to sources, the decision has been made after a partnership that was struck between Parity and the blockchain program at the university.

For those not aware of Dr Gavin Wood, he is prominently known among the entire cryptocurrency industry from being the co-founder of Polkadot and Ethereum.

Following the reports, the Blockchain Xcelerator program of Berkeley and Parity Technologies, which is a popular DLT protocol has confirmed that a partnership has indeed been struck between the firms.

The firms have revealed that the focus of the partnership would be to create awareness among the students in the computer sciences and programming sector. The students will be walked through the processes and protocols that are followed in the creation of blockchain networks and projects.

To ensure that proper knowledge is shared with the upcoming youth at Berkeley, an educational program has been introduced. According to the educational program, the Xcelerator program launched by Berkeley will hold panels to educate the students on the blockchain systems.

The curriculums at the university will ensure that the students are provided with full information and knowledge surrounding the creation of blockchains. In order to strengthen the deal between the two firms, Dr. Gavin Wood will be playing his role as one of the guest educators in the program.

The program will see Mr. Wood join the educational curriculums from time to time in order to assess the knowledge of the students and keep them up-to-date with the latest technologies in the industry.

Berkeley has further revealed that the educational program would comprise of several lecture series. However, A. Richard Newton Lecture Series would be the one that would see Mr. Wood come in for the lectures.

Parity has revealed that its developer education team will start its work right away as the partnership has already been put in place. The team will be fully coordinating and collaborating with all the concerned parties that are involved in the ongoing 2020-2021 academic year.

Throughout the process, the team from Parity will be working with the blockchain studying community, the students, and the faculty. The team from Parity would also be making necessary amendments to the training data that Berkeley currently has around blockchain systems and technologies.

Furthermore, it will provide full support in resources, project ideas, and curriculum preparations. This will eventually play a huge role in the enrichment and enhancement of the educational content surrounding blockchains.

In addition to the above, the students participating in the educational curriculums would also be encouraged to develop their own blockchain networks.

The students will not only receive encouragement from the Blockchain Xcelerator program from Berkeley but would also receive full support in the creation of Web 3.0 and Polkadot ecosystems.
