In the past year, one of the most notorious personalities in the eyes of the global decision-makers has been Julian Assange. Julian Assange is known as the “Robinhood” among the common people. He has been referred to as the Robinhood because he has revealed secrets to the people that the world governments kept hidden from them.

As per Julian Assange, he did this so the entire world could see and be aware of what is happening around the world. He wanted to show people what games the world governments are playing behind the curtains. What secrets and information the governments are sliding under the mats so the world would never come to know about them.

The significance of the information shared by WikiLeaks is to expose the true motives of the world governments that directly or indirectly have an impact on a common person or their interests.

It was back in April of 2019 when Julian Assange was arrested by the Metropolitan Police of London (UK). Now, Julian Assange was to face extradition in the United States for revealing its secret information.

After the arrest and possible trial of Julian Assange in the United States, it has been speculated that Donald Trump may grant Assange the pardon before he leaves office.

However, the legal team backing Julian Assange is getting ready for all case scenarios and do not want to lose their guard. The legal teams supporting Julian Assange with the current trials are ensuring they are prepared to deal with any outcome.

It has been reported that Julian Assange is receiving a lot of support from the cryptocurrency community. Many users from the crypto-space are popping up and donating to support Julian Assange to face the U.S. Government’s trials.

A Twitter user that goes by the name “Whale Alert” revealed that many cryptocurrency users have donated a decent amount for Julian Assange in the last week. The crypto-donators have managed to donate funds in BTC, which will be used for Assange’s and WikiLeaks’ legal defense.

It was on January 4, 2021, when one of the cryptocurrency users donated around 8.48 BTC for the cause. At the time of publishing the amount translates into $291663.66. Another user made a recent donation of around 4.51 BTC last Wednesday, December 30, 2020. This amount at the time of publishing translates to $155118.29.

The donations for Julian Assange keep coming in even when the legal status of the founder of WikiLeaks is still uncertain in the United Kingdom. One of the recent developments in the case is that the UK court has decided that Assange will not be extradited to the United States. The decision has been ruled by District Judge “Vanessa Baraitser”.
